Your new role:
Project managing up to 12 construction projects at a time
Supervising tradespeople and subcontractors to ensure a high level of performance, quality, and keeping job progress on target
Liaising with the Director and Construction Manager regarding the projects on hand and providing regular job progress updates
Maintaining accuracy in project management systems to ensure contractors and fellow staff can accurately support on-site work (including Trade Allocations and Bookings)
Correctly interpreting drawings, specifications and other relevant documents
The role will require combination of hands on skilled work, organisational work and communication
Oversee site safety requirements
Identify and help implement improvements to processes
What you need to be successful:
Must be passionate about building beautiful, quality homes that help everyday Australians like us.
Minimum of 4 years experience in residential construction
This is an essential role in ensuring the projects run smoothly so the ability to communicate effectively with customers, trades and internal staff is essential.
Industry recognised qualifications in Carpentry are essential
Experience in construction supervisory roles, construction industry practices, principles, concepts, techniques and standards are desirable.
Be an effective team member and have a flexible approach together with the ability to adapt to ever changing circumstances and a practical approach to solving problems
Must be able to follow our well documented protocols and procedures
Must be big on personal development, always looking to grow as a professional and as a person
Must be caring and committed to delivering exceptional customer service and feel good vibes to the extended team π
